An online, searchable version of the Meyers Gazetteer of the German Empire with integrated historical maps. The full title of the Gazetteer is Meyers Orts- und Verkehrs-Lexikon des Deutschen ReichsPARSED CONTENT
The web page had the following in the homepage, "Dont worry about diacritics when searching." I saw that the web page stated " Just use the simple vowel." They also said " You can search the gazetteer using as a wildcard. This wildcard will match any number of characters. To find all places that start with Kai, enter Kai for your search. To find all places that end in mühle, enter muhle for your search. To find all places that start with K and end in mühle, enter Kmuhle for your search. You can use multiple wildcards in a search." The meta header had Meyers Gazetteer as the first optimized keyword. This keyword is followed by Meyers, Gazetteer, and Online German Gazetteer which isn't as important as Meyers Gazetteer. The other words meyersgaz.org uses is Historical German Gazetteer. Meyers Gazetteer of the German Empire is included and could not be seen by search parsers.SEE SUBSEQUENT WEB PAGES
